New Jeep Upgrades...
The smaller Jeep Cherokees don't come with a rear seat headrest. And, since my 4-year old son is already tall enough that his entire melon is above the top of the seat, I came up with this solution - '97 Grand Cherokee headrests, mounted in my original seat! I opened the cushion up, fabbed some brackets, and voila!

I scored a complete Dana 44A and the proportioning valve out of the same Grand Cherokee I got the headrests from. I'm gonna pilfer the calipers, lines, E-brake hardware, and backing plates for my "StreetJeep", then part the rest of the axle out. Whatcha think?? |
The headrest looks good....got any pics of the bracket that you made?
Hmm....what gears are in that Dana? Open or locked? - Justin |
