Intake/carb

Hey everybody.
I have an 89 camaro 305 TBI. If I put a different Carb and intake manifold on it would it Cause problems with the computer?

Well, the TBI is not a carb. You need to get a performance throttlebody and intake manifold to retain your stock computer.

You would have to remove the computer, all of your emissions and rewire the engine compartment to put a carb on.

yea i know the whole tbi carb difference. i guess i should have said if i put a carb and a different manifold on.

At minimum I might think you'd need a standard HEI dizzy and fuel pressure regulator, along with carb, air cleaner, manifold, fuel lines, etc.

What about an EFI setup?
