LT1 - New Water Pump Leaking??

ive been on here many times about my car.. its a 96 lt1 formula..asked many questions about the opti... anyway i got a new opti.. me and my friends went to put it on at their shop plus a new bosch water pump.. well everythign was goin greeeat.. untill we go to put the collant in and all.... well it starts POURING out of the water pump.... we read the direction and bosch claims this will happen for a little till the seal "laps in".. yes its inb quotes on the instructions.. well we did this for liek an hour or so. took it aroudn the block.. at that time it was like midnight.... we called it a day and are goin back at it after i get off at 3.... anyone ever deal with this? does the leaking go away???
o btw its coming out of the weep hole.. my old water pump did not do this at all.. but changed it for obvious reason that all lt1 owners know

is it a mechanical? if so i would return it and say its defective so you can get an electric. the CSR takes a little modding to the WP housing but works great. my car runs cool and i have no complaints. its also daily driven.

My Impala runs very cold... almost too cold with the elctric pump... been there for 2 years, no problems...

I've never seen this problem, I run an electric now and so far so good. I'm not sure exactly where you mean its leaking out but if it's getting on the opti I'd be careful not to fry it.
