problem starting

i have a 94 z28 and it takes a good 30secs of cranking to get it started every time when it was never like this before, im thinking the opti is going bad anyone have any ideas?

Check for spark while cranking?

Check fuel pressure?

Does it only do it if it's been sitting for a while, or every time you try to start it?

try not to crank it sooo long or youll burn out the starter. and your opti is the best bet. like tru said check for spark

get a fuel pressure gauge, check fuel pressure

check your plug wires to see if you're getting a strong spark
