Idea for new forums
 

Just seeing all the new member threads pop up lately. Think a "New Member" forum like tech has would be beneficial or no?

And for classafieds. Maybe add a "Automotive Non-FBody" and Make the current auto one "F-body Related"
?

We haven't talked about having a "Welcome" or "New Member" forum, but we have talked about splitting the Classifieds up more.

My only reservation about adding more forums is that they won't be used much. I won't add anything unless I think it will be used at least a few times per week.

Thats what I figured. Thats what I was trying to say about hte new member thing as in "do we have enough new people comming on to justify having it"

Like i said, I was just shooting an idea out that I'm sure you probably thought of already .. lol

The new member one probably will be used. The last month or so I thnk I have seen atleast 2 new members a week posting. Just my two cents.

Yeah, but how many people would go into the new forum just to say hi? Probably some but not as many as those that read the lounge...

i also think it would be good to have a new member section

people in this site are nice enough that they would go on just to welcome new people.

Well, we can always try it and see how it goes. No harm there.
