Tuner Cat help
 
I just got tuner cat, i got my cables, i pulled my pcm from my car using the winflash program, but i cant tune or change anything. It won't let me open the bin file winflash pulled in the tuner program.

Please i would like anyhelp i can get all i want to do is change my gear ratio, please help me.

i figured it out, it was vista messing with me. None the less though i'll take any advice anybody has for tuning my car with the Tuner Cat program.

My advice...

Read. Read as much as you can read up on from the DIY guys for LT1s, wherever those forums may be. I suggest having a full comprehension on GM engine control as well as what makes an engine produce more power. If you in anyway doubt yourself in any area and cannot find an answer, I would advise you to stop before damage occurs.

i'm not playing with anything, i basically got the program just to change my gear setting. It cost $110 for everything and can do so much more the $340 hand held hypertech tuner. It does scare me though.
