another question about my speedo gears
so i ordered them a while back and got them. i was going to install them today, the only problem is this-
the 43tooth speedogear (which the speedo cable connects to) that i purchased has a plastic shaft on the end of it, and appears to be longer than my stock speedogear assembly which has a detachable metal shaft with a Dshape end on it. the speedo gear i bought wont even slide into the speedometer cable housing. dont have my digital camera here but basically to help clear things up its like this- http://www.bowtieoverdrives.com/cata....php?ITEMID=29 thats a pic of the gear that was sent to me stock speedo gear is attached to a small metal shaft and has a D shape on the end, where it slides into the gear. that slides right into the speedometer housing where the cable goes in. the new one i boought appears to be one piece and has a plastic piece in place of where the metal D shaped shaft would slide in. the gear has no D shape on the end. did those som' bitches give me the wrong crap?? it wont even slide into the speedo housing where the cable comes in..... |
buy a speedo housing.
