I just don't understand why people put so much work into cleaning and polishing their beater cars.

bad64chevelle 04-15-2008 07:28 AM

wow Rich that looks great!

The car always looked good on overcast days or late in the day when the sun was going down. But you could see all the marks on a nice sunny day. Looks like it's cleaning up pretty good Rich.

Polished chrome plated tow hitch.

Looks great, especially on a black car.

Yeah, pretty sure your gonna do my car later this year  that is amazing, you have quite a talent there.

The car looks great Rich! Now I need to get it outside for some decent pictures. That clearcoat was hurting and it was definitely worth it to get it freshened up.

BonzoHansen 04-15-2008 08:58 PM

Next he fixes the JL8 car.

Good lawd....
That is nice. I really really really wish I had about 2 grand so I could fix all the body problems with the 72.

I def agree as long as it wasnt in direct sunlight or under artificial light it looked great especially from farther away but as soon as the sun hit it you could see all the deep swirls and scratches.... still has some problems with sanding marks etc under the clear but no one can fix that without a re paint

I'm posting final pictures in a new thread now

Man...I wonder what you could do to the Caprice!!
