lowered (pro kit) pics

I just finished the suspension rebuild yesterday so I'm pretty sure the car will drop a little more as time goes on. Right off the bat, I can see a difference, I love the stance! I took it for a ride and everything feels good but it definitely needs an alignment (scheduled for Friday) then I can really test it out. I'll get measurements once the springs settle a little more. Also, I know the car is dirty, it's getting a bath this week 8-)

I didn't go for a crazy ride, just normal and I could feel a huge difference in everything! It actually rides better, seemed to take bumps a lot better and just normal cornering was improved. I can't wait till next weekend after alignment so I can really play with it 8-)

Could be, but up front I have the fiberglass SS hood which shaved a lot of weight from the stock hood and my AC is removed. It's also a 350, I dunno what your engine is.

Thanks again everyone!

do you have an adjustable panhard bar in the back or does the 1" drop not really move the axle??

Teds89IROC 04-21-2008 12:16 AM

I have one in there now, sometimes it looks like its over and then I'll move the car and it looks centered  I'm gonna have the alignment shop take a look at it and set it straight.

One of my favorite cars on the board and it just sits perfect now.

Now that it's run a few miles, can you give me an estimate on just how much it REALLY lowered the car?

Teds89IROC 04-22-2008 03:17 PM

I'll get them friday after alignment because I can use JM's driveway again (very flat) and Friday will be one week that they have been in the car.

just estimating the front dropped at least an inch and the rear is about the same

tonymazz1 04-22-2008 11:25 PM

sits real nice

DaSkinnyGuy 04-23-2008 12:10 AM
