Yea, I've had a couple of raging fires in my pit too. We turned the lid of mine bright red once, but I don't think I got any pics of it.

Regardless, that's a hell of a fire. Can't wait to move and get my firepit back. :nod:

me and my buddy cut a keg into a barrel and drilled a bunch of holes in the side. that would get so hot, you could spit on the side and it would bounce off. that thing is awesome.
