Convertible drop springs

While looking for drop springs for my car i noticed alot say except convertible, is this just because of the weight difference and the drop wouldnt be as posted for other models? so a 1" drop set may be a little more or less than 1" on a vert??

i think it doest matter, with my vert i put diff springs in the back from a ttop car and the hight is the same as a ttop car, theres about 100 pounds of weght, so not much to do a big differnce.

yeah should be fine. iuno about the weight difference of a 3rd gen. but the 4th gen difference of a base coupe and convertible is around 150lbs. and it shouldn't affect your choice of springs.

Doh didnt see this.. Reason why they say not for convertables is because we have a extra brace in each wheel well that the hardtop/t-top cars dont have. So we lose a few inches of space for the wheel to travel.
