Corvette fuel rail covers?
yes... with some cutting though
I read up onLs1 tech and no one seemed to have a set-by-step of how to do it, and a search here yeilded nothing
SmokingSS had a pair set up, I'm sure he did it himself you just have to wait for him to chime in
A friend just put covers on his 02 hawk. I'll check with him.
no they wont because....ITS NOT A CORVETTE
 |
Best thing to do is make a cardboard template, and then trim it to fit. Once you are satisfied that you have done all the adjustments needed, transfer the cuts to the FRC itself. As the others stated, you will have to trim the Corvette FRCs so they will fit. More has to be taken off the passenger side than the drivers. It can be done, just go slow and be careful not to cut too much.
simple search pulls up this pic http://www.thecheckeredflagstore.com...ional_frcs.jpg |
please do something like the above....dont put corvette FRCs on your fbody
CJ (35thls119 or something) has them on his 02 SS that look like those red ones time posted kinda. Maybe he can post up and say if he bought em or cut em himself.

Bought a set from ebay already modded... for $10 more then new covers, I couldnt say no...
The difference is in the fuel lines, you need to modify the one cover. If you look at the pics Deadtrend1 posted you can see the F-bodies have two slots. Just bondo over the corvette depressions.
