what? you never heard of wide-trac LOL, they are a tad taller and I can feel that the car is tilted ever so slightly

SamhainZ28 04-25-2008 01:05 PM

bubba428 04-25-2008 01:15 PM

There is far worse than that....I'm supposed to be getting 4th gen wheels with DRs so that'll even it out a bit....

GP99GT 04-25-2008 01:54 PM

would you like a cookie?

bubba428 04-25-2008 02:29 PM

I actually knew that...I used to sell them, I got them cause they are a soft compound and will be good for the track too. They get gooey fast, i'm talking melty rubber

bubba428 04-25-2008 02:39 PM

Just so its clear....by no means did I ever claim my car looked good, but its not as bad as the body kit and ebay cars you guys post

What is the treadwear?

bubba428 04-25-2008 02:49 PM

440 but they heat up a lot for some reason

bandit88 04-25-2008 06:26 PM

The rear ground effects look HORRIBLE! what happened to it?

I'm going to take the car completely apart and paint each part this summer...so i never touched up the spots i missed

Slo86Bird 04-25-2008 11:24 PM

looks like shat cuz its too high.

sweetbmxrider 04-26-2008 02:45 AM

i dono if its the angle like eveyone is saying but those tires are too high for that look...

IROCdan330 04-26-2008 07:24 AM

that picture makes me glad i dont have a 4th gen rear in my car anymore.

and bubba, im not going to get into a debate with you but if your tires have a 440 treadwear, and when you heat them they get "gooey," you will most likely have even less traction...there is a difference between sticky heated and greasy heated.

bubba428 04-26-2008 08:47 AM

I already gave them a little "test" its a huge improvement over the 7 year old tires i had on it

Tsar 04-26-2008 09:33 AM

anything would be an improvement over a 7 year old tire...

bubba428 04-26-2008 09:36 AM

exactly....so tell me why certain people were telling me i didn't need tires.....

you didn't need a freaking truck tire that was meant for snow and mud, thats for sure. Why not stick to normal tires?
