Tomorrow Dont buy gas

So the word is that tomorrow is gas strike day. Everyone is suppose to not buy gas tomorrow , like its gonna do something, but who cares give it a shot.

Its been going around by word of mouth and text messages so I hear. A buddy told me.

alamantia 05-01-2008 07:39 PM

who really believes this ****

Fast92RS 05-01-2008 07:39 PM

Yeah I got the same text message. I wont buy any gas tommorrow we will see if it makes a difference. If it gets the media's attention then maybe.

i have 1/4 tank left, but im gonna go fill up on purpose tomorrow with 4 dollar PA gas from BP.

ShitOnWheels 05-01-2008 08:15 PM

Even if everyone boycots tomorrow, they will be buying the next day...it doesn't work

Hence for the need for alternatives if we want the price of gas to come down.

But don't count on it ever happening (the price coming down too much).

sweetbmxrider 05-01-2008 08:18 PM

you would have to do it for like 10 days or so. one day hurts the small business owner, not the "big guy". oh and i am gunna fill up tomorrow, blow all that gas, and do it two more times. but good luck!

SStealth2k 05-01-2008 08:34 PM

the government doesnt control the gas prices you guys need to realize that, people like me you own the stocks and set the bid of the company. and given there is only two american gas companys left, the government doesnt control it

Knipps 05-01-2008 08:40 PM

i'm getting home tomorrow rather early, if i need gas she's gettin it

Europe pays the USD equivalent of 5 dollars PER LITER not gallon, LITER. 3.8 liters to a gallon thats $19 per gallon we have NOTHING to complain about, we are a spoiled society because we had $.99per gallon gas 10 years ago.

DING! People would rather blame Bush, our government, OPEC etc. The fact is it's a ton of factors. Our dollar is down, speculators are influencing the price, a lot of refineries are outdated etc.

Regardless of the reasons it sucks for us.

sweetbmxrider 05-01-2008 08:51 PM

yeah speculation and investors are to blame

Little G 05-01-2008 09:04 PM

Europe builds their road taxes into the gas so it's an unfair comparison to say Europe pays $5+ pre gallon.

g

shane27 05-01-2008 09:06 PM

like i said, we pay for the gas difference in our taxes anyway. its not going to help. tho, i wont need gas tomorrow so i guess thats cool

BonzoHansen 05-01-2008 09:22 PM

Why does this come up every 8 weeeks or so? At every damn forum on the net?

ryanfx 05-01-2008 09:53 PM

so...

You're not going to buy gas tomorrow... and just fill up MORE gas next time you do fill up?

Because that makes sense....

sweetbmxrider 05-01-2008 10:03 PM

biodiesel FTMFW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!

Teds89IROC 05-01-2008 10:27 PM

I heard this too. We're stuck, the only way to make a difference would be to stop using gas and that won't happen, anytime soon at least.

procamaroz28 05-02-2008 02:04 AM

i heard too i say we get a tanker and steal all the gass we need from those rich ass greedy companies that sell it to us!!

String 05-02-2008 03:57 AM

If I need gas im going to buy it dont matter where when and how much I buy alot of gas to feed my rides 04 cts-v ls6, 99 t/a ls1, 95 2500 p/u 5.7,

When we buy gas at the track for the big block modified its 9.00 a gal for 112 octane! so its about 100.00 a night for race fuel

WildBillyT 05-02-2008 09:15 AM

Welcome to free market capitalism.

When the demand is constant, constrict the supply and take an Uncle Scrooge bath in all of your money.

Fast92RS 05-02-2008 09:33 AM

The government does have a hand in the price of gas cause they tax it and who do you think is one of the guys filling his bank account with the profits the number one guy Bush..
