FS: '87 Ram-Air Trans Am $3000
What's up guys? Taking some advice and putting it up for $3000obo. Just going to copy and paste my CL ad here:
Looking for a quick sale to get my other car on the road. Anything with it's price that's in parenthesis has been done in the last month or so. '87 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 99xxx miles Automatic 305 TPI T-Tops Oil changed only with AMSOIL ($75 per oil change, but great) Hooker headers Magnaflow exhaust 3" piping Fiberglass Ram-Air Hood ($750) Fiberglass wing ($425) Remote Starter/Door lock/unlock. ($175) Just did tune up w/NGK Iridium plugs, wires, etc. ($275 just for parts) Matrix Bucket seats (comes with stockers too) All options, including rare t-bar set. Needs: Heater core replaced. I have the part and might do it once finals are out. Needs a rear. Fairly inexpensive and easy to replace. This actually opens up the opportunity to pick and choose what kind of rear and what gearing you would want. If I replace it, price will most likely go up. Seriously though, a replacement posi unit from an overpriced online retailer is $250. Local junkyard is in the range of $75, and it's about 45 mins worth of labor (an hour rate if you take it to a shop). I still drive it every day, so it's not all that big a deal, just loud. That pretty much sums it up for now. http://i239.photobucket.com/albums/f...IMG_0695-1.jpg http://i239.photobucket.com/albums/f...e/IMG_0952.jpg http://i239.photobucket.com/albums/f...e/IMG_0963.jpg http://i239.photobucket.com/albums/f...e/IMG_0965.jpg |
Bump. Would people want this more if it had a stock hood? I thought $3000 would be a good price for whoever.

i think its the needing a new rear end plus gas prices thats keeping potential buyers away..

only thing keeping me is money and id have to sell my bird before i bought this one.
