Did anyone like that Death Proof movie that came out recently?
 

Just wondering what people thought of it if they saw it. I like Kurt Russell as an actor and thought he was cool in it up until he gets beat up. They also have a cool Chevy Nova I think, and a Charger and Challenger in the movie. First Stuntman Mike drives the Nova and then the Charger. Good music in the movie too.

they were both good. i like car movies, so im partial to death proof. if you get the dvd, you can watch an interview with tarentino. he explains how he wanted to do a classic car chase movie, along the lines off vanishing point, dirty mary crazy larry, original gone in 60. i think he did a good job. the blonde girl on the hood of the challenger is a real stuntwoman.

I thought the second group of girls were really annoying for some reason. I liked the first group better. I just hated how the movie ended with Stuntman Mike getting his arse kicked. I don't think it should have went down that way, but whatever. I really liked that Nova he had in the beginning. Good music in the movie too. The cheerleader and Rosario Dawson were cool, but I couldn't stand the Australian stunt woman and the black woman. The first group of women were cooler.

Planet Terror was pretty good too. I think it had more action than death proof. It was also cool to see Michael Biehn from Aliens in a new action movie.

Planet Terror was good, and Rose McGowan looks a lot hotter now then she used too.
I have this odd thing for Rosario Dawson. Ever since Sin City. I think its the eyes :drool:

I definitely liked Planet Terror, I thought the middle of Death Proof was super boring though.

Lot of build up (read talking) in Death Proof. It needed more action but I still liked it. Kurt Russell screaming was hilarious.

True...I can't wait for "Machete"

i thought death proof was the weaker of the two..i enjoyed planet terror more, but death proof was decent,. a bit too much with the breakfast convo being way drawen out. but good action toward the end. if they actually make 'machete' with danny trejo (which i heard they were considering doing).. i will be first in line to see that!! trejo rox!! he makes me wanna go out a get a huge senorita tattooed on my chest!~ lol

I have, she is cute in Clerks 2 too.

but have you sat through RENT yet? :lol:

Just watched it tonight. I thought it was really good. I actually wanted to see the play before I saw the movie, but oh well.

They are making "Machete" Go to IMDB.com and look it up. Trejo=true bada$$

I have Death Proof and Planet Terror in the netflix queue, haven't seen either yet though.
