i think you got the lighting spot on in 9, and 7, and i think the 4 looks cool for a dark type picture...
wow i also noticed the one taken in front of the shrimp box is directly across the street from the place me and my gf spent last summer haha |
NICE CAR!!!! i really like the color scheme.... why dont u paint ur tail pipes black i did that to the stang and love how it turned out, it will def look nice on ur car
You need a tripod and to slow the shutter speed down!
I'm not a huge fan of shooting @ 1600iso at night for cars. It leaves to much to desire in the photo. I would have kept it at about 100-200, and shot in Manual, and control the shutter down to maybe 20-35 and let that camera sit for a few seconds. It takes forever to set up but its usually worth it. I'm certainly no expert at night time car pictures, this is just from experience. The car looks good though, the color combination is unique! |
pics are too dark. but i got a tripod if yer interested. =D
Not to pick apart your pics even more then other people did but I'd also scrub down your wheel wells and use a cheap tire shine on them especially with the all black rims. and like i said I'm just throwing a pointer out there as it really will make a difference
nice - I never like all black rims without a polished lip but u got me wondering what mine would look like with em.
thanks for the comments/criticism! i spent like 4 hours easy cleanin the car and was pretty tired and hungry but wanted to get some pics before it rained so i rushed through the shots a bit.

I say re-take the pictures when its dry out shoot in RAW, set the camera to Manual shutter (M) 100ISO, 25-30 Exposure Time & shoot it wide at 18mm so that its shooting in F3.5. Make sure your back is to the light, and the cars isn't directly underneath it either.
http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k2...t/013c6cf0.jpg Other then that your stance and color combo rocks. Just tint those windows to match the sail panel! |
haha dude no tint is KILLING ME! i need to work out a ride. i might call them up for friday since i'm taking an early day. it was tough finding a good spot since the docks have lights everywhere. i usually shoot in manual, kinda forgot about dropping the ISO in low light, and always shoot in raw and high jpg. i haven't really gotten into editing my photos, but i guess i will start. thanks though! gotta try getting some early morning or late afternoon and some sunset shots. i just love shooting different light. i have a screw on fish eye adapter from ebay i might have to play with. see what i can do.

TINT will make the car pop even more. But I like the polished tips. You really cant go back if you dont like the way it looks once you paint it. Id suggust painting the tailpipe black and if you like it good if not throw the tips back on for that polished look.
thanks. scheduled tint for tomorrow at 2. glad my a/c works cuz saturday is gunna hit 90 i think.
looks good man...how do you like that grill? hows the fitment..I was thinking of getting one
it fits great but wow, i would never do one again! you have to drill two holes on either side which is simple. clip a couple self tapping thread taps in. then you have to wedge your hand behind the bumper cover and tighten them in. you can do one pretty tight with the grill half installed then slave the other in. i will definitely take the bumper cover off next time. i don't even have fog lights installed, but the mounts kill all the room you would have. its doable, just frustrating. oh and i was on a lift, i couldn't imagine installing it on my back. but it is an awesome grill! and i took the badge off the corner. couple plastic things you can hit with cutting pliers.
i would paint the edge of the headlight area black like it is stock, i think it would look better that way

yeah it used to have blackout covers over the headlights so it looked pretty cool. once i get a new bumper cover ill probably go gloss black. i wasn't sure about the side mirrors though. i like how they blend in but i am probably gunna do an ss spoiler in black so i'm still either way about it.
