its already aggravated me this morning....stupid a/c lines are always in the way

does ur ac still work or can u unbolt a bracket to give you more clearance

it doesnt work, but i dont know if its completely discharged...i have an a/c delete kit but i need to make sure its discharged before i disconnect things. a face full of R12 wouldnt be very fun

maby you can take the ac pump off and just move the line and then put it back

when are you going to put on the rest of your parts?

im not gonna lie. when i did my heater core in my 89 lx i just used a screw driver to see if there was any refridgerant. I was lucky there was none in it a :). I was getting ready to drive it to a shop with no dash or consles just to get it removed. But i figured it didnt work so there was nothing in it and might as well check. Not telling you to do that its enviromently unfriendly but a way to see if there is any in the system. :) p.s never do a heater core in a fox haha.

All you gotta do is use the screw driver method and make sure your not right over top of it.

yup. i use my 10'' screw driver and just stand back a little...let the r12 out in the atmosphere. its illegal to do though. dont do it in a small space either..

haha glad im not the only one who isnt afraid to admit it................now we will all be tickted by the epa

2nd beer break...other side is on, valve covers are cleaned, dropped them on...no clearance issues. btw, turning over a motor by hand sucks balls. going to put the plugs back in, valve covers back on, then the upper intake and all the vacuum lines and crap...and see if i did everything right :lol:

funny you say that, it always had a little tap coming from the passengers side...pulled the cover off and started wiggling rockers, i was able to move one back and forth fairly easily

ouch good thing you decided to do them. That could of been a problem later on. I give you credit man its hot outside im fighting myself just to put gear fluid in my rear

took it out for a drive, hauls ass if i step on it...has a low RPM cruising miss though. thinking i forgot a vacuum line or something.
