#1 mod - Subframe Connectors |
haha Hey Sam I see you finally made your first post. haha
|
Where in South Jersey?
First mod? 12 bolt |
Im from Brick, you think i should do a 12bolt? i was thinkin intake and exhaust
|
It cant hurt, and that initial investment will pay off down the line instead of doing it backwards, adding heads/cam/supercharger/nitrious, etc THEN spending another 2500 on a 12 bolt because the 10 grand in engine parts are worthless paperweights because your 10 bolt took a dump.
Therefor you have the 12 bolt, and can go balls out till you break the transmission. |

SFC's is another good idea. Set the ground work first. If anything, the car will be stiff and the rear will be pretty much bulletproof for when you wana launch your car with some DR or slicks.

And make sure to tint the whole car out too...looks real good that way. And get a front plater filler if you don't already have one! |
Welcome. 12 bolt sounds good to me.
|
The hell with ALL the small stuff. Bolt on a couple of JATO packs to the sides of the rear bumper, pull the pin and get ready for some serious neck snap! OH and don't worry about stopping for about a mile, YOU CAN'T!!! :omg:

welcome to the club! i'm from brick myself:lol:
yep central jersey rolls deep lol |
I will ask the obvious question. Is it a manual or an automatic. If automatic I must insist on a torque convertor some where in the 3600 range. SFC's are good for tightening up esp. if you have t-tops. The 12 bolt I have to say is OVERKILL esp. if you are stock. I've been running my stock rear with a convertor and a 100 shot of nitrous and the only thing I've had to replace is my limited slip. (at least i think that's what it was.) If you decide to do a complete H/C package then yeah maybe a 12 bolt will be necessary, but if you go that deep immediately any good car shop will inform you that the rear will take a crap if you don't make it stronger.
