I get to make an angry phone call monday

So me and my buddy Bob were cranking away on the BBOD last night. We worked for 4 hours and got everything taken off ready to pull the heads. We would have had the passenger side off but needed to take off the trans dipstick bolt on the back of the head. Since it was 11:45 and we had both got up early that day, we called it a night.
I get back over there around 12:20 today and bob already had the passenger side head off. He began putting the new springs in the head while I was pulling the bolts out of the other one. This is where the fun begins......the kit came to me missing 18 locks and 1 spring base  So instead of finishing it up today, I get to make a nice angry phone call to LS1 speed monday asking WTF?

Anywho, we got the heads off in no time. I'll post up pics later of the carnage. Out of the 16 inner valve springs, I managed to break 6 on the passenger side and 2 on the driver side.

LOL, not exactly. I was civil haha. They said they are shipping me the parts. I get home tonight and I have a shippers notification from the usps and a tracking number. 8-) So, hopefully soon.

Well, got the parts in from LS1speed 2 days after getting off the phone with them. The T/A is back on the road and putting break-in miles on the car this week. So far I have 140+ miles on it. I figure I'll wait and hit the dyno mid next month for a re-tune, then head to the track. The Car drives and idles ALOT better now. 8-)

its amazing what intact parts will do to a car.... :)
