So what special talents does your pet have?

I thought our dog had a special ability to detect where rocks were underground and then dig them up for me! But it turns out, her real talent is detecting roots underground and digging them out to chew them in half! Apparently, the rock was just in the way of the root so that was a surprise bonus! She also likes to chew on humans. So far, it's just live humans but I would to see what she would do with a not live human!

my dog absolutely loves to leave me special surprises overnight where he sleeps. Butlately he's not so generous. Idk what happened... *evil laugh*

My collie is a magician - he can make entire tables of food disappear when we're not looking.

My cat performs brain surgery on the weekends.

79CamaroDiva 07-29-2008 10:31 AM

my dog can unwrap anything with her teeth and paws without putting holes in it so it looks like a human did it. including saran wrap, lollipops, tums, whatever.

when I lived at my parents house the cats and dog would team up together, the dog would be the muscle and the cats would the brains and they'd figure out how to knock over and open all of their giant bags of food that were in latched containers.

Now I have two cats in my apartment, one of them is new to the family. They're talents are finding noisy things to play with at 5am, unplugging my interweb while I'm trying to work, somehow making two big bowls of water disappear, and of course, sleeping on the clothes i'd like to wear the next day.

my dog would make an excellent soccer goalie. he's got some basketballs that i kick around the yard and he goes after and brings back to me (he's a retriever, ya know). but when he's tired of chasing them, he will block the kick. sometimes, he wants to play keep away, as in keep the ball away from me so i don't kick it away. i've even tried kicking them over his head, but he leaps up and gives the ball a header with his nose. he's really very talented.

My dog retrieves rabbits. He'll catch them, come to the door with it in his mouth, and stare at me. I tell him to drop it, the bunny falls to the ground in unreal shock, shakes itself off, and darts away. He doesn't kill them, somehow, he just picks them up and carries them around the yard. Strange...

My 3 have incredibly accurate biological clocks. They're all very good at letting me know when it's dinner time! Lily sometimes tries lobbying for an earlier time, but I've been holding my ground..haha.

Mine's got ridiculous self control. I can leave a plate of floor on the food and she won't touch it, nevermind the table

I've managed to train my dog to go for walks w/o a leash and to stay in my yard without a fence. If only I could get her to stop eating goose ****

my little girl kitten is an escape artist....can't lock her up worth a damn. she is also growing interest with xbox live. she will sit on my lap and watch me play. sometimes she paws and bites the controller some. ill let you guys know when she gets her first kill!

My dog also has an accurate tummy clock. He is a cunning laundry thief. He'll casually stroll into the room and make off with something, then run laps around the house show boating. Other then that he is a very protective Jack who barks at everyone and everything that walks by our house.

my dog has the ridiculous tummy clock too!

you can also point anywhere and he'll look where you point on command....

and lately he's been quite the actor..... you'll "shoot" him with your fingers and he'll make a dramatic plop on the floor.

the last time he layed down crawled a little and then "died"
