attempted at self tinting.

i will have pics tomorrow. the hatch i did 5% and came out like ass on the corners. i did the doors in 35% and came out amazing but its not dark enough for me. it was free so idc about screwing up lol. im going to get more tomorrow and gunna decide on 20% or 5% for the sides. dunno yet cuz i dont want a ticket so i dont want it too obvious.

you get enough tickets to even think of putting tint on the windows of the doors. Just keep the hatch and thats it.

yeah agreed. I self tinted my driver/passenger windows to 35% and I got pulled over 2x with 1 ticket. But the beauty about self tinting is that it doesn't hurt as much when you take it off. Bad thing is that I did it in the winter so keeping the windows warm was a challenge and I ended up with 2-3 bubbles that wouldn't go away.

i have 20% on the sides. 5 is too dark to drive at night safely. i have 5 on my other camaro and i don't really like it anymore. 5 on the hatch is good though to lessen the headlights at night. i haven't gotten a tint ticket in 4 years. and that one was in exchange for a warning about speeding. it depends on the cop.

well cops in bergen county are just yearning to give the dumbest tickets. down here I haven't had any encounters with the popo . I LOVE CENTRAL JERZEY!!

Went tinted for 2+ years, never had an issue. Only recently took them off to get inspected.

well, today i put my window down and a bolt in the door scratched the ***** out of it so i got pissed and ripped it off....no pics, sorry! haha

Jam 08-07-2008 09:27 PM

hahhahahhahhahahahaa

sweetbmxrider 08-07-2008 11:45 PM

hmmmm that sucks

deadtrend1 08-08-2008 09:02 PM

whats a bolt doing against your window?

Slo86Bird 08-08-2008 10:29 PM

it held the window guide thing to the top plastic piece of the door panel but i took it out today and gunna put 20% on the sides.
