It's become a huge thread and it is full of win.

Cliffs - Kid takes his mom's celica for tons of custom work, racks up a 16k bill and tries to walk off with it. The guy also has a ton of previous and well documented scams all throughout the internet. He talks a lot of smack so it's entertaining.

Holy crap that was a long thread. And apparently much longer before the admins cleaned it up.

Kid has what's coming to him, though, assuming everything the shop says pans out. The shop will probably lose a little bit of money in the deal, but not $16k worth.

In the thread there was a link posted of the build. Looked like the whole nine yard which included the car being totally stripped and rebuilt. Turbo setup, paint, suspension, A/V, etc etc. Supposedly the kid supplied most of the parts to be installed so the $$ is mostly labor.

The shop should keep the car and flaunt it at shows and stuff as their shops show car. Everytime that dirtbag sees the car he'll remember what scamming people gets you.

I'm very curious to see how this turns out.

Wow, I just decided to read all of those pages because I was bored....lets just say, my eyes hurt lol. Sweet thread none the less. I can't begin to imagine where Joe Dono is right now and what he is thinking.

Yea finally. I'll check it later on tonight to see if anything else breaks through. I wanna see if a radio station actually talks about it since some of the users sent it to local stations. I can't believe this kid actually decided to scam someone in his own backyard. That's crazy.

i wanted to see more posts by the kid, he is hilarious

these posts are so enertaining...........sad people are that dumb but they make my life better

lol i was bored too and read it all....its amazing how this kid thought he would get away with it, then make up these BS stories and thinks he will get the car back on friday

last time i checked it was 40 pages long and 400+ current viewers

this kid is all over the place. he tried to buy several 350Zs, one with a credit card - asking the seller to accept a 35k payment from the CC...

people chimed in to say they've lost money, paintball guns, cell phones, an Xbox 360... the list goes on and on... and he's got a criminal record for this very thing. if he gets charges pressed on him, he won't walk away like he did the first time. he's looking at some hard time. and he's such a bifussy that he'll get turned out in a heartbeat.

They updated the thread with working pic links on flikr. The link is in the first post. As is his paypal address if anyone wants to donate to lawyer fees.
