choices choices...

I'm already on to the next thing I should build (already taking car of the 4th gen V6 so no priority lectures). I'm trying to find an old Nova or a Chevelle roller cheap. But I keep coming across 2nd gens. I have a 700R4 and a B&M trans pack, and the 350 from the T/A survived intact. should i keep looking for an older car or build a bumblebee and hope Megan Fox shows up? I could always build a Nova and kill cheerleaders LOL (kidding). I'm staying Chevy with the next muscle car. any suggestions or anybody know where to find some rollers

theres a guy on here selling an old nova. jim is his name

bubba428 08-14-2008 12:11 AM

my price range is very limiting....1500 is even a stretch

NastyEllEssWon 08-14-2008 02:18 AM

1500 will buy you the rustiest nova ever or a super clean 80s version

if you have 1500 bucks and your looking for a project youd need a few more bucks to get a nova or chevelle. some novas are still cheap but the after 73's are...ew

12secondv6 08-14-2008 06:06 AM

dodge neon!

camaroracer1992 08-14-2008 06:36 AM

i know of an s10 for sale

BonzoHansen 08-14-2008 07:41 AM

$1500 might buy you a pile of rust scraped off a wrecked chevelle.

WildBillyT 08-14-2008 08:30 AM

I knew what you meant, and I knew what he meant...I'm going to need a custom length DS to put a 700R4 in that 2nd gen aren't I?

yup

Mike 08-14-2008 10:33 AM

umm it will probably need to be shortened.......my dad had to shorten the one in his elcamino when he put in a 700r4

bubba428 08-14-2008 10:36 AM

I wonder if the 3rd gen one would fit....

Slow96LT1 08-14-2008 11:35 AM

get a mustang and put the chevy motor in it u can get one for cheap like $400 as a roller

deadtrend1 08-14-2008 03:49 PM

im on the fence about getting rid of my 86 TA. Not sure yet.

bubba428 08-14-2008 09:06 PM

I don't know if I'd want to do another 3rd gen....it would have to be an exceptional deal, and I'd have to have all the money up front

ar0ck 08-14-2008 11:58 PM

Teds Bro Jim is selling his Nova, and as far as i know he has everything it needs.

BonzoHansen 08-15-2008 09:00 AM

I have a tubular cross member designed for a 700r4 in a 75-81 f-body made by bow-tie overdirves. Brand new to you $100, it's all there but the mount which you can get wherever. You would be best off having a 2nd gen one shortened. Yoke might be different too. I also have an extra 2nd gen th350 driveshaft I'd throw in if you need it.

Mike 08-15-2008 09:41 AM

this is coming together fast lol, doooo eeeeeeeeet
