WTB: Cheap Daily Driver

Well I'm a highschool student and after talking with some people I have decided to pick up a cheap beater car because I have to much money into the camaro for some scumbag at my school to mess with it, so I'm looking for a car in the $1000-1500 range. I don't want anything really too old so something from the 90's would be a plus, a stick would be a plus, and a car that wouldn't need any work(The camaro is the car that gets all the money). Let me know what you got.

not to get off track but if your in forked river and going to lacey high then what are you worried about ? that parknlot is huge. you just need to park in the way back where others dont. when i went there my friends and i had daily drivers from the 50s-60s and no one ever messed with them. just park your camaro in the way back or in the teachers parknlot and you will be fine.

I was looking for something that would be good in snow. After some thinking, I'm just gonna drive the car to school and if we end up getting a bad winter I'll pick up a car.

look for jeep cherokees, 4.0 L, a number of us own them on here and they're virtually indestructible. I just sold mine to my cousin because I got my HHR for better fuel mileage, but you really can't beat them as a local DD, ESPECIALLY in the snow.
