mc73nova 10-22-2008 12:34 PM

Ok one more bump, then they go on Ebay tomorrow. I will give them away @ $150 for the pair.

mc73nova 10-29-2008 07:56 PM

Unfortunately, I still have these. I don't want them to go to waste someone needs a great set of rubber.

NJ346 10-30-2008 09:27 PM

Will these fit on a 4th gen? Also the link says that they are 225/50/16, that seems kinda narrow. What kinda traction can I expect from a tire that small?

Not 100% sure, I can check tomorrow. They are more narrow than I expected, but they never gave me a problem. This was my 2nd set. I was 1.7 60' 12.67@102 with them.

Ok, I'll check back tomorrow then. Not sure I want a tire that narrow in the back. You also have to take into account the weight of the car you were running those tires on compared to the weight of my 4th gen.

mc73nova 10-30-2008 09:42 PM

I was running a 77 camaro in full street trim with slide a links and sfc's.

NJ346 10-30-2008 09:45 PM

ha ok. Well if you can figure out if they will work on a 4th gen I might be interested.

mc73nova 10-30-2008 09:46 PM

no problem, ill let you know.

Tru2Chevy 10-30-2008 11:45 PM

245/50/16 (stock 4th gen size) = 25.6" tall

225/50/16 (these DRs) = 24.9" tall

They are a little narrower and a little shorter than stock. (will act like the car has a little more gear than it actually does)

Those wheels will fit a 4th gen, they will just stick out a little bit.

Stevoone 11-03-2008 09:10 PM

I'm interested but I don't know when I'd be able to get up to north jersey.

mc73nova 11-03-2008 09:38 PM

where are you?

JSPERFORMANCE 11-04-2008 06:42 AM

Those are not drag radials, they are a standard Quick Time Pro which is a bias bly tire "cheater slick".

JSPERFORMANCE 11-04-2008 07:31 AM

You still have them listed as drag radials in the title.
