Window Motors

I finally got fed up today and went to the nearest autozone and picked up a doorman window motor. Got home and went to shbox for the pic by pic guide and just did it. I have been putting this off since i got the car a year ago. I cant believe how easy it was. Took all of an hour and could prob do it in 30 min now. The doorman is alittle louder than gm, but i was told it would be like that so no big deal cause i have a working motor now.

if anyone need help doing theirs i would be more than happy to swing by and do them.

on a side note the door is not yet fixed. The outer weather stripping is coming off and i cant find anyone who sell a replacement part for it. Also the window itself is not completely on the regulator(? i think thats what it is) The bottle roller is completely gone so when the window is at the top it wants to lean in and i have to hold it back to guide it up. Ill post the two pics i took to better illustrate what im talking about when i head inside in a few.

When I bought my LT1 car back in '04, the driverside window didn't work so that was the first thing I needed to do. I used shoebox's walkthrough, and that was the best thing ever...lol

i think you can play with a couple adjustments and get the window to shut correctly. the scissor part is the regualtor. what the motor is bolted to. the glass is in a frame, kinda.

Why in the world did a screen come up that said "ATTACK SITE/USE OF THIS MAY DAMAGE YOUR COMPUTER", after I hit the link to F/Body?

Taking off the door panel and stuff is different, but once you get all that off its the same thing.
