Visited SSP again
 

Just got back from there shop with my car. 150$ for a gear install which i found to be very reasonable. 4.10s really woke up my car from 2.73s (t56). Car drives smootly andd the gears don't whine one bit and they even reflashed my computer to make up for the new gears for free!!

yes very big change. car use to be an auto.

yes they did the t56 swap for me also. just didnt have the funds for gears at the time nor did i think it would be a pain to drive with 2.73s

wow only $150 for gear install is a great price. Gota feel like a different car with a jump that big

went 95 on the highway just to see if it would whine at higher speeds. but nothing its quiet. Yes its a huge jump from 2.73s and the price was excellent. When i get some more coin im gonna get a dyno tune from them.

Was that a complete "rebuild" or just gear install?

Complete rebuild. we are going to tune the car later this week. we have his race car in the shop doing the rear in also....

sounds like a place to get my gears put in my t/a....sounds like a good price

pm me the ballpark range you paid for your t56 swap. im gonna be going this route in the winter and it might be worth it to pay to have it done instead of trying to find garage space
