thinking about selling my camaro...got pulled over on 287 in my maxima on monday(86 in a 65) and if i get stuck with the 4pts my insurance is gonna go up and my mom will prob make me sell the camaro so just seeing what people think...its a 98 Red Camaro z28 m6...just hit 55k miles today...gray leather interior (8.5 out of 10) Body is easily an 8 out of 10 also...the only thing done to it is an SLP Lid and Walbro 255 fuel pump...also has a kenwood flip-out monitor(new $900) but also have stock radio and 6-cd changer for the trunk...other then that the car is stock...the only problems with the car is the the gas gauge doesn't work(sending unit needs to be replaced and dont have time...like $100 fix) also the ac doesn't work all the time(compressor doesnt always turn on and i dont know why)...i posted this on ls1tech.com a few months ago just to see what it was worth and i was told 12-13 but that sounds little high...prob going to ask $11,950 obo...what does everyone think?
p.s. sry only pic i have for now and the paint looks much better in person

thats rather high for an early LS1, ur talking like 02 Z28 price range there. 98's are goin in the 8-9k range in good shape, and ive seen as low at 3k for high milage cars.

my gf had that same maxima, sold it last year, great car too

The market for cars like this kinda is not great right now... ~12k might be a little high. I'd still advertise it at 11.9 to start and see where it goes. Good luck on the sell, I'm looking to sell mine now as well before winter picks up and I get stuck with it.

i want to keep it...im just worried if i get these pts my insurance is gonna go up so much on the maxima i wont be able to afford both cars while still in school...i would actually rather sell the maxima and keep the camaro but i wouldnt want to drive the camaro in the winter

"sell" it to a relative until you can afford it.

or pull the insurance on the camaro and let it sit in your driveway..start it up now and then

its mostly that i wouldnt be able to afford the payment on the camaro plus the insurance on it and the increase in insurance from the pts on my maxima
