I cant tell you how many accidents/crashes/downed wires/downed trees I witnessed happen today. I was 15 feet away from having a huge tree land on my pickup truck. A-****in-mazing.

You don't have to go through the Poconos, do you? I heard they've already got 8+ inches of snow! The roads should be warm enough to not be too bad, but you never know. We had snow here in Ewing starting by 9am today. Nothing stuck so our roads and trees are fine. I thought north Jersey would be in rough shape compared to us.

baddest434 10-28-2008 02:45 PM

pick up trucks with plows were out up in branchburg! had to be 3-4 inches on the ground!!
white rain sucks

I just got power back 30 minutes ago. We lost it at about 6:30am, because a transformer blew. It was interesting getting ready for class this morning lol No snow here though, just heavy rain/wind

LTb1ow 10-28-2008 03:31 PM

Just got home, frozen and wet. This weather blows. Can't wear winter gear cause I just end up soaked and cold.

Untamed 10-28-2008 03:39 PM

Had wet, heavy clumps of snow fall on and off earlier this afternoon in Florham Park. Been raining and windy all day. Hillsborough had freezing rain mixed with rain this morning at 7:30am.

maroman88 10-28-2008 03:45 PM

when i got back to from work, my truck had 3" of snow on it, that was in kingwood twp.

I was working in ringoes, not far from my house, in a wooded area and the snow was doing so serious damage to the trees, heard several large branches and trees come down, and had to cut one up that fell across the road when i was leaving.

I hope this isnt a sign of whats were are in for this winter

Its raining now and the power is back on. What a day, I have never seen more pathetic driving in my life! It took me over an hour to drive 10 minutes from my house and when I got home lost power for 2 1/2 hours.
