Noticed they wasted no time removing it. Never did get to read it. When I was looking for my 4th-gen car I ran into quite a number of scams on Auto Trader. I was looking on all the major sites and for some reason there were more scam deals on Auto Trader than any other site. I don't know why. Naturally all claiming to either be divorced women who got the car or people out of the country but had the car in storage and would be happy to ship it to you once you paid them. One I decided to play with for a while making them set up an account for me to wire transfer money into. Naturally I never did wire transfer it to them but kept telling them that I was trying to but they were not receiving it. When I got bored in a few days I confronted them about the fact that the company they were using (safe-harbour.net) for the wire transfer was on just about every fraud list on the Internet, they hung up and would no longer take my calls. Mysteriously the email address started bouncing back as no longer available too... It was a 1997 SS mint Camaro with 43K on it for $4340 shipped to my door. Like they say, if it sounds too good to be true...
For the other scams, once I mentioned that it sounded like a scam deal they usually hung up on me and no longer took calls or returned emails. Ahhh, the lengths you’ll go to, to police the internet… :-)
