Buffed/waxed the T-bird

It was in extreme need of the wheel and a good coat of wax before the snow/ice/salty roads come. Enjoy!

not using tire shine when detailing your car is like taking a shower and not washing your hair!!!

sweetbmxrider 11-11-2008 04:58 PM

is there a special wax you use for winter? or just whatever for some added protection?

I had a 93 5.0, I miss it. It was a good DD.

LOL I didn't get it by choice. It was given to me when my grandmother passed away, my grandfather bought it brand new in 93. It only has 54k original miles and I've only had minor, common, problems so far and I started driving it in 05.
I didn't do a full detail, just exterior paint..so it will get tire shine next time as well as interior leather/carpet cleaned!

Just whatever wax you put on with an applicator rather than something you spray and wipe off, they last longer. I always use NXT tech wax on the iroc but the t-bird usually just gets fast wax every so often. I've neglected it for a while though which is why I needed to go over it with the buffer first...then I used the tech wax.
