69BirdX 12-11-2008 03:33 AM

Yea considering there is one in autotrader just like it for 13

NastyEllEssWon 12-11-2008 04:38 AM

yup just like a certain car on craigslist ive seen that is EXTREMELY overpriced...especially since i know what the car sold for to the person selling it now. i wont link it or say anything more because the person frequents this forum as well. oh and its not listed on this site for sale just for those reasons im pretty sure

MonmouthCtyAntz 12-11-2008 06:17 AM

No but I can say overpriced  Never had any luck searching on craigslist...last car i looked into on there was a "v6 TA w/ a LS1 package", thats honestly what the guy told me.

Blackbirdws6 12-11-2008 07:07 AM

Just highballin LOL. It does have the "legendary" LS1 engine though.

Looks like someone has a healthy car note to pay off.

creeper 12-11-2008 08:13 AM

hahah hard to tell from that picture but it kinda looks like it's automatic

'zactly. these kids get into the car way over their head by accepting the salesman's pitch of, "can you afford $X per month?"... it snowballs from there and they end up with a 28000 note on a 16000 car. dealers are the debbil.

PolarBear 12-11-2008 08:34 AM

I like that it is a last edition in 2001 and it is candy apple red but it is the factory color

7pointoh 12-11-2008 11:16 AM

Yes it is overpriced.

But what about this?

Why must people add in hundreds of pounds of stereo equipment? It doesn't make the car faster at all. Get a civic if you wanna do that.

SteveR 12-11-2008 11:33 AM

Overpriced, and wrong pics I'm assuming, considering he says 6-speed manual, and the pic is of an automatic.

+1. I went into a dealer telling him how much money I had to spend, period. He called me later and was like, did you have a payment per month in mind? I was like, no, I have and only WANT to spend this much. See if you can make it happen. If not, then that's fine.

Thats one thing I noticed about buying new cars. One of my friends bought a durango, thought he bought it for 14K, put about two years of payments into it, thought he had it down to like 7K, finds out from the intrest hes got 16K left to pay!!!! what? Im glad I never bought a ar from a steaership, I dont understand how they get away with taht ****.

Yea that's insane, anytime you've got some spare coin, throw it at the principal. The dealer told me I could finance through them and without a moments hesitation I told them I'd be going through my bank if I did anything.

I would be willing to bet good money that's just a scam. Too many funny things they do / don't mention and picture inconsistencies

It's all a scam. If you can get them to focus in on a monthly payment, the dealership can hide much more money in the deal because you're only concerned with a certain number.

NjbadSS 12-11-2008 04:25 PM

the trans am is definitely a scam..something for us all to laugh at though..I'll bet that if you get in touch with them, he is in australia and will have his friend meet you and show you the car haha

LTb1ow 12-11-2008 04:43 PM

sweetbmxrider 12-11-2008 05:10 PM

i prefer both. who said bass thumping? i like clean and loud. like ringing ears loud. what?

madness410 12-11-2008 09:32 PM
