cool find but the firebird had a crappy driver..

qwikz28 12-25-2008 11:53 AM

the firebird was not comparably equipped to the camaro. camaro had SLP goodies but the ws6 didn't. i think... thats what i gathered from context clues from teh articles

PolarBear 12-25-2008 08:38 PM

Why was the HP the same on the F-bodys but the torque was different? I would think they would be the same?

Anti_Rice_Guy 12-25-2008 08:45 PM

Different rpms too

why, in the road course pic, are the camaros rear wheels in the air, but the front is sitting normal

the suspension is fully extended. the front is either landing or never got fully off the ground. remember the back of our cars is significantly lighter so it will go higher in the air

Mike 12-25-2008 10:23 PM

ahh, i was thinking braking, so if its airborn whats with the burnout behind it

o thanks man that would have been really difficult for me if i wasnt distracted by a funny spoof a kid made on ls1tech of a viper owner

transmaro93 12-26-2008 09:11 AM

cool article.... somthings fishy about the firebird to camaro stats tho.... they should be closer than that... it says the firebird is lighter with same gears motor trans and all that... and its that much slower...??? i mean its 5 tenths faster... thats alot for how the same these cars are... i can see2 tenths maybe 3 at the most.... driver error?

NJ Torque 12-26-2008 10:36 AM

they also say that the ss was an slp optioned car?
