I've been trying to figure out what brand of exhaust system I have. Here's some pictures, maybe someone can figure it out?

miketa95 01-08-2009 02:33 PM

It has no labels or markings anywhere

NjbadSS 01-08-2009 03:08 PM

sure looks to be a flowmaster..

MonmouthCtyAntz 01-08-2009 03:09 PM

Yea i think your right w/ Mac, was just on their site and those tips are exact.

WildBillyT 01-08-2009 03:16 PM

Drag your hand over the top of it and feel for raised letters. I'm pretty positive you have a Flowmaster.

procamaroz28 01-08-2009 04:33 PM

flowmaster... i dont think the older systems have lables

vipergtx500 01-08-2009 05:03 PM

the car i have now has a flowmaster and it sounds nothing like his did. I could be mistaken if it was an older or different series

MonmouthCtyAntz 01-08-2009 05:39 PM

Macs and flows should sound that much different(both chambered)...I dont think flows have that inlet before the exhaust tips...pretty sure its a mac

WildBillyT 01-08-2009 05:41 PM

Muffler case looks like a Flowmaster. Might not be a Flowmaster system but it sure looks like a Flowmaster muffler.

ar0ck 01-08-2009 05:46 PM

Its a Magnaflow 3" with their slant cut tips.

Flowmaster mufflers enter on the first opening pipe on the passenger side and the tail pipe exits on the last opening.

deadtrend1 01-08-2009 06:38 PM

Eh, sure looks like flowmaster to me

chrisfrom nj 01-08-2009 08:40 PM

flowmaster

JL8Jeff 01-08-2009 09:00 PM

Looks like Flowmaster muffler and tailpipes with some other tips added.

madness410 01-09-2009 12:16 AM

greddy

miketa95 01-09-2009 12:53 AM

it looks like it has been cut up a few times, and the I pipe has a slight bend in it if that helps at all...

definitely not this....

looks like a hacked up flowmaster with a couple exhaust leaks (black carbon streaks) could be why it sounds different. could be a different flowmaster series muffler too. obviously the tips are different. might be stock piping with a muffler and tips welded in.

See the raised circular section next to the muffler inlet/outlet? To the best of my knowledge only Flowmaster does that, and that's what his looks like.

BigAls87Z28 01-10-2009 02:57 AM

Flowmaster muffler put together and welded by Ray Charles.

sweetbmxrider 01-10-2009 09:45 AM

miketa95 01-10-2009 06:18 PM

oh well I like it, no matter who welded it.

Tru2Chevy 01-12-2009 08:05 PM

Flowmaster American Thunder system....I have one in my parent's garage and the tips are identical to what you have on your car.
