Stalling cauases the car to not run?
I had to do some work in the garage so I moved my Camaro out of the garage. I turned it on for a brief second just to roll it out of the garage and I shut it off. When I went to return it into the garage I stalled it backing into the garage and when I went to restart it wouldn't turn over. I knew it was low on fuel so I put a little regular in so I could move it and it still didn't run. I disconected the Mass Air thinking I blew out another and it ran long enough to put back in the garage (roughly). I have oil pressure, water pump runs, and fuel pump primes.
Bad gas? |
Did you put Sta-Bil in the tank?

Alex, any luck starting it again with the MAF either connected or disconnected? - Justin |
I filled a gas can today with fresh 93 so I'm hoping to fill it tomorrow afternoon & try again. I also hooked up my other battery tender to the car just incase.
I've gone through 3 Mass Air Sensors with this car and the symptoms are very similar. I ran it about 3 weeks ago and let it warm up in the driveway and it ran fine. Nothings changed since. |
Update?

I'll be honest I've completely lost interest in that car. I haven't done anything but add some sta-bil to the cans of fresh super.

It was bad gas, I had the battery on a trickle charge, and filled it with a gallon of fresh super and it fired right up. I'm going to fill it up with super and throw some sta-bil in it when I get back from some errands.
Thanks for the help! |
