Circuit City

Filed for Chapter 11 in November which means they restructured and a judge decides soon whether they can stay open. My question is this: They are the only company I can find that does accidental protection coverage. I want to buy my sister an Ipod touch but she will break it. Not if, but when. Should i take the risk and buy the accidental coverage from circuit city or find it cheaper elsewhere. any thoughts?

also you may be able to find some third party warranty... see if your credit card company does anything involving it... sometimes credit cards extend warranties on electronics without the cardholder even knowing about the benefits

I thought Best Buy had the protection program too. Did they get rid of that?

Apple should warranty it, look into it. I'd honestly spend the beans at the apple store to secure the warranty, I know my sister has brought most of her stuff (laptop & iTouch) back multiple times and the cost has payed off long ago.

i had a friend who got his ipod video replaced without any questions asked at the apple store

i'm looking for accidental coverage. best buy has an extended warranty but doesn't cover deliberate breakage such as drops and water damage. i still haven't decided what to do
