LS1 Oil Compacity?

Well I bought a 5 quarts jug of Castrol Snthetic and was wonder if that was enough or did I need another quart?

5 gallons?

i think you mean 5 quart jug. if so yes you will need another quart. the factory recommends 5.5 quarts on the stock size filter, or 6 quarts if you get the longer filter

its been a while since i did my t/a, so i did a quick search on tech, a couple guys mentioned having different fill levels than factory recommendation, so i would start with one of those numbers and go from there if yours seems different
