Good F-Body video bad ending

Are you serious? http://www.fquick.com/videos/viewvideo.php?id=5815

That's crazy....I wonder what the driver of that blue 'bird was doing besides a burnout to get yanked out of the car and cuffed.

LTb1ow 01-14-2009 07:19 PM

How is that possible? Don't you have to get questioned and stuff?

1994lt1 01-14-2009 07:51 PM

All I know is that it is against the law to drive like that, regardless if its public or private property. Wreckless driving is a bad ticket to get, but hey it looked like a hell of a good time.

sweetbmxrider 01-14-2009 07:56 PM

i can't believe no one did another burn out. that would have been teh epic hahahaa

ar0ck 01-14-2009 08:03 PM

There was a HUGE thread about this on LS1Tech, it was at a Speed Inc. open house.

I dont see how you could get arrested for doing just a burn out. Alot of other people where doing it to. He must of not had insurnace or something. Looks like a fun event though.

like the cop even asked

probably wreckless driving or some sort of endangerment. i skimmed the ls1 thread and didn't see anything.

miketa95 01-14-2009 08:50 PM

Haha that video is awesome. I got a ticket for doing a burnout in a parking lot once. The cop was screaming at me but i didn't get arrested. He probably just wanted to make a point to everyone else there.

69BirdX 01-14-2009 09:46 PM

I understand the cops anger. It was a dangerous situation and could of been a big legal argument if someone got hurt. But it seems like he needed to be more professional. The video doesnt show everything for all we know the kid was doing more then just burnouts and maybe ignoring the cop.

NJ Torque 01-14-2009 11:00 PM

Eh. Kid was wrong. Cops were in the wrong for how it was handled too.

NJSPEEDER 01-14-2009 11:34 PM

ehhh, ya play in the street that is the chance you take.

I must say that if I was ever physically yanked out of my car like that there would have to be legal action taken. I can't see any excuse for grabbing someone out of a car like that. The car was stopped, there wasn't any indication that he was going to flea and he certainly wasn't in a position to assault the officer, so I can't see any reason to make aggressive physical contact.

Man they need to have another one.

It was awesome last year with the Toll Booth Hole Shots, The Speeding Cadillacs, The Sudden 45mph speed limit when all the m6's saw a State Trooper:secret2:, The Burnouts on the street, The TT'd F-body's.... but then PSJ and Matt D ate all the pizza...

... then Ben Stiller showed up in a squad car and ruined everything:bang:

there ya go, thats why the cops were in ****** moods.....and since no one here was there.......maybe the kid that got cuffed had a warrent or some such ****. videos dont tell the whole story

Mike 01-15-2009 08:45 AM

btw its a street albion ave

LS1Hawk 01-15-2009 11:35 AM

It's also highly dangerous to be doing burnouts with a crowd of people standing 6 feet from your car, which is every burnout in the video.

That seems to be the common formula for all the people that hate police:

Public Road + Doing something stupid/dangerous + Police Show up = Cops are all dicks :moon:

lol

maroman88 01-15-2009 01:58 PM

ehh that was a little extreme, a simple curb side adjustment would have been good enough along with a few tickets.... annnd boy did they sieze the opporunity to use up some ticket books lol

he is known as "the man"

Iam with NJSPEEDER on this one, If he pulled me out of my car like that I probably would have resisted a little, but iam shure the guy in the blue bird did something else in his past, for the cop to rip him out like that

on the ls1 thread, they said the cops were pissed because everyone was booing and crap. they eventually calmed down and dispersed the crowd.

KirkEvil 01-15-2009 05:57 PM

sucks for that kids friend, his ride home got towed away.

I would not have resisted anything. A cop tells you to move or grabs you and moves you, you go. The consequences for fighting back or not listening are far worse that getting frisked and cuff'ed.

I would have filed a complaint against the officer and looked into legal actions against him.

if that were true there would be no tracks. Whether it was private or public property has EVERYTHING to do with it.
