I have been waiting to say it for a couple weeks ago, but I just got word that the dealer i bought my bike from has the title for me to come pick up.

Its a 2002 cbr600f4i in an amazing piss yellow metallic color.

I bought it 100% my self and is in my name. Pretty stoked about it..

Don't touch it until its properly insured and you have all your riding gear. Good NEW helmet, leather gloves & preferably a leather jacket with armor, & don't ever wear sneakers when riding. You better have good health care or life insurance if you want to be a squid.

is that Hanover Powersports? good people there. the F4i is a nice smooth bike. def. smoother than my zx9, but not as torquey obviously due to displacement. I stalled it the first time I rode it b/c I was used to the zx9's low end torque. you'll have lots of fun with it. Just take it easy until you are comfortable with it , then start 'getting into it'.

Frosty 01-14-2009 10:05 PM

Good luck and be careful.

maroman88 01-14-2009 10:17 PM

while not wishing harm on another human being is one of my main goals, i have to say that without proper riding gear and tons of practice and instruction by a reputable motor cycle school, that this will be the inevitable conclusion. i just see too much of "it's mine, mom can't tell me when to ride it or not, i bought it and i'm going to ride the wheels off of it" in this purchase... i don't see anything about a new helmet or new boots or a new jacket...

the only thing saving his life at this point is that it is way too cold to ride.

MonmouthCtyAntz 01-15-2009 06:09 AM

Too bad I did have a whole other thread about icon helmets.

Thanks for all your concerns but Ill be fine, I'm taking the MSF course this summer and I've already put a couple miles on it on some nicer days..

Its all ready home. I was going to get an 08 R6s at action yamaha for a pretty good price but I decided that this was the better buy for my first bike. Hopefully I will be stepping up to a yamaha in a year or so.
