I'll take 2 please. Thank you.

|
That car looked fantastic on the block. Those headlights were
|
Now imagine Victory Red with the dark graphite stripes, RS package...my goodness
I WANT! Damn it, G8 and Camaro are tempting bastards. |
I can't wait until I get through college and get a good job I will be picking one up, until then I'm stuck with my 99. Hard life...haha
|
damn... 320k too much...
|
It was a charity car sale so the price is meaningless. It's a tax writeoff and bragging rights I guess. That's why it's tough to look at the sale prices afterwards if you don't know the story behind the car on the auction block. Supposedly the first 55 T-Bird was auctioned off for $600K again in some form of charity or donation, but it was serial # 005 and apparently # 004 is out there.

 i thought gm ceased production until march? how does this work :?

jeff the thunderbird money stayed with the sellers, and they had documentation that it was indeed the first tbird in the form of a letter from ford, apparently 1-4 were wagons and some sedan and not thunderbirds |
big tax deduction and most of the money goes to the AHA.

$60K for the Pace Truck. The paperwork for the 55 said it was the first availbale to the public but that was before 004 was located.
