tire calculator

my dad's friend has a 68 camaro and he wants to know what options he has as far as tire size. The front wheels are 15x7 and he said the rears are 15x8.5 and the rears currently have 245/50's on them. I thought I came across a calculator online years ago that would show this info but I can't find it now, any ideas?

As far as what fits?

He should be able to fit a 275 if he is careful. But the axle needs to be centered properly.
