Iroc Thermostat
 
i went to change the thermostat in my iroc and i cant get at the front bolt on the housing. would love some feedback

IIRC, you'll need to move the throttlebody. Disconnect the throttle/TV cables, cruise if it's there, and don't lose the clips! Then remove the 4 bolts holding the TB in place, and you should be able to move it out of the way. Otherwise, maybe you can swing a ratcheting box wrench in there under the throttlebody. Good luck!

you can but its a pain, its so much easyer to remove the TB, takes like 5 mins and you can clean up the TB wile your there. but anyway good luck.

just to keep it clear, LT1 thermostats don't fit TPI's

i meant the whole lt1 swap b/c he was thinkin of buyin one
