Englishtown Spring Swap Meet - April 17-19

Okay guys, time to clean up those garages! That's right, it's time for another swap meet. I have a spot reserved with my friends at MyOnlineGarage and TeamXXX Racing (it is, however, my spot) and any NJFBOA members who want to come out are more than welcome to it (if you have a few random parts, and so long as I get first dibs on anything you bring!)

PM me for my cell phone number.

Also, I'm sure others here have spots reserved as well.

It's always nice to hear that the swap meet and Cops n' Rodders is coming up on the radar....:)

madness410 03-03-2009 10:35 PM

dont mean to hijack but do you think its a good idea to reserve a spot to just try and sell my car there?

Mulletbird 03-04-2009 06:42 AM

No. They actually have spots setup for vehicle sales, and iirc they're cheaper than the 20x20. Plus, people will be looking to buy a car when they walk by.

Last swap meet I was scavenging for parts, it wasnt that great of a swap meet at all. But this time around I have found my self in a haystack of parts in my garage that iv been trying to sell. If I still have this stuff by then ill def be their to get rid of parts and if they dont sell ill give them away!

Keep in mind, we will be sharing space. Point being, don't arrive with a 20' long enclosed trailer packed end to end, and expect to have it all unloaded and spread out. Doesn't mean you can't bring a trailer and a book of what you have, and arrange to walk out to the trailer and get the parts when interested parties arrive.

Mike 03-05-2009 09:24 PM

his post didnt say if he was gonna share or get his own?

Jersyboyy 03-06-2009 01:03 AM

Depends on how much crap I have by then I am always buying more aprts and selling more parts. But I AM trying to keep it at selling more parts nowadays. More than likely I will have one table full of crap and a few extra boxes if all goes well so sharing would be nice and it wouldnt be alot). If I DONT get rid of ANYTHING I have ill probally get my own spot for one day I wouldnt even need a whole one.
But yea just wanted to clear that up

Mike 03-06-2009 10:25 AM

they dont sell one day spots.....all weekend

Scrat's_Camaro 03-06-2009 04:16 PM

Yeah, I gotta be more prepared this time so I don't have to sleep on the front seat of the truck.

lol. btw - if I do have a vendor spot, and leave for the night, can I get back in early, or do I have to wait for them to open?

Might be bringing some tarp for the canopy - makeshift tent, plus a piece of 5mm plastic from Home Depot (floor) and a mattress, I should be set.

NJSPEEDER 03-08-2009 08:19 PM

The overnight stay is worth sacrificing sleeping in a comfy hotel bed. Things get funny, freaky, and a little bit weird once the gates get locked.

madness410 03-08-2009 08:51 PM

i like the people that sell 'ice cold bolts'

NJSPEEDER 03-08-2009 09:07 PM

I have bought many a rock at the swap meet ;)

Mike 03-08-2009 09:09 PM

mullet, if you have a vendor sticker you can leave and enter 24 hours a day, the gates don't close.

guys that hang out at my spot......we is probably gonna have a generator this time around :)

But come over to mine for some BBQ wings. Be warned - they are known to make grown men cry.

I'm making plans to go...my sister's boyfriend will be there so I have to place to hang between looking for parts.
