what rear are you getting?

TBSPW 03-12-2009 02:09 AM

a stock one off a friend of mine...it has 4.10 gears and i know i will blow that up by the end of the summer but by that point i should have a 12 bolt on the way

good luck. new parts are always good. a 9" is on my list for when i get back, along with a tune by ttp, 90mmTB, intake manifold, skinnies, slicks and a new driveshaft. Then ill be at Island in the beginning of 2010 beating the hell outta it.

TBSPW 03-12-2009 08:55 PM

nice parts list you got there...yeah ive upgraded near everything by now and the rear end is just not happy about that...ive already blown 2

I just did the rear end swap in my 1985 camaro with a late 4th gen posi rear. Doesnt take that many tools at all man.
If your at all mechanically inclined id say buy a decent tool kit and go for it yourself. Its pretty much unbolt a bunch of crap drop old put new in and bolt a bunch of stuff!
