In a bind! Anyone in the area have a LT1 clutch fork?
Anyone local have a clutch fork I could pick up today?
The car has sat for 10 years, it's going to go back together this weekend and the clutch fork is MIA! Got the engine bolted to the K-member and the shell is sitting up on the lift. If I could get a fork today we can bolt the trans on and no have to fight with doing it later. Let me know if you got one for sale! |
I think I've got one but I'm not near Ewing. I'll check and see.

http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e1...0313091405.jpg John, I shot you a PM with my contact info if this looks right. It came with my LT1 T56. |
Thanks again Bill.
This project is a nightmare. The car has been in various stages of disasemmbly over the past 13 years. There are tons of boxes and bags of "stuff" We have up to 6 of the same parts, and others are just missing. So after we start putting te car together I find a box and it contains the inspection shield, and a clutch fork. Later digging thru another box of fuel system parts, suprise,,,, anoither fork. And today UPS shows up with one that was ordered. Wireharness was not stock, and it looks like either something in the wiring harness, or the starter is bad. Hopefully this is the last problem to overcome and then it should be running. |
You do realize that you need this on the back of your car!
