93-02 Fbody Roll-Bar - SOLD

SOLD!!!

I finally got this roll-bar out of storage but I will not be using it for my vert. Nothing wrong with it but I changed my mind on putting a bar in the bird.

I do not know who made it but its appears to be very well made. Some minor spots of surface rust from sitting but its truly in good shape and something a quick coat of paint will make look perfect. I'll be happy to take any other pics if needed.

Asking $100 obo and local pickup only.

Bolt-in but plates look beefy enough to be welded

I was told way back that this was for a T-top/hardtop car (I was going to have it modified) but since your local, feel free to stop on by to see if it does indeed work with your car. It came out of a 98 Camaro SS that road-raced which is all I know.

From what I can see in the picture, this appears to be the standard 4 Point bar that Autopower makes for the 4th Gen, Camaro HTs. I have this bar in my '02 HT. It can be used either as a bolt-in or weld-in unit. If welded, 1/4" plates need to be added to the underside of the car. New, the Autopower unit is over $400 shipped. At $100, you're paying for the freight costs. Someone should steal it quickly.

question, how do you get it in the car?

Dilley 03-29-2009 04:08 PM

through the hatch?

sweetbmxrider 03-29-2009 04:38 PM

eh i don't know. it seems like clearing the body where the backseat rests would be very difficult. i was thinking maybe no interior going through the door but it still seems difficult.

If it were an Autopower Bar it should have bolts for the back bars that run to the fenders, but as far as install goes, the main hoop gets wiggled in through the doors, then you attach the two rear bars. Its actually really easy to install.

oh ok i didn't know they separated
