try getting a come along and either chains or heavy duty tow straps

Tru2Chevy 03-29-2009 03:35 PM

I'd come up and give you a yank with my Jeep, but I'm at work until midnight.

Where are you exactly? If illegal, please PM.

Justin, Its a very illigal spot... a wildlife conservation...

No offense, but these ruts were dug with trucks with 44's... you'd probably have a hard time getting back there.

Yea, I talked to him via PM and he showed me where he was. My Jeep won't yank a well stuck full size pickup anyway, not enough weight / traction.

This storm is only going to make things worse too....hopefully they are already out of there....

I just figured I would toss out some help to a fellow Jeeper if I could.

Mike 03-29-2009 07:19 PM

back-ho = caught?

sweetbmxrider 03-29-2009 07:30 PM

i was about to post back-ho or the likes but i didn't know if it was feasible.

thunder 03-29-2009 08:20 PM

nah we didnt get caught but one of our friends is a contractor and he just happened to have a back-ho chillin around and we used it to yank out the trucks. damn thing almost tipped

HeadlessNorseman 03-30-2009 09:16 AM

As soon as i read "we tried using the second one" I knew what was up...kinda funny but i know it sucks. Ive gotten my truck stuck more than once. And embarasingly was able to get pulled out by a quad once or twice. Its worth it to stay out of mud, as you and I have learned the hard way

thunder 03-30-2009 01:41 PM

ya but its still a blast. well until u spend hours diggin... oh ya should i post pictures of all the fun

sweetbmxrider 03-30-2009 02:58 PM
