lol, anyone who is in the military recently should recognize these rear tires. on a side note, somewhere i heard that this awesome beast is LS1 powered....true? |
nevermind just looked it up. apparently powered by a vauxhaul 5.0l, making 500hp....
and the older keaton batmobile (trans am looking one) was built on an impala chassis powerd by a zz3 chevy 350. |

1966 Batmobile FTW.
http://www.1966batmobile.com/spec.htm Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb, indeed. |
its got HOOSIER racetrack tires up front
|
It's called the Tumbler and I thought it did have a LS1 in it.
|
i know its the tumbler. and yeah it has hoosiers up front, and those are super swamper tires used on HMMWVS, pretty sure they are made by interco, but they are the old style radials.
second best batmobile: http://www.slashfilm.com/wp/wp-conte...batmobile1.jpg still cant find a straight answer about what motors they actually use. keep seeing 350 this, 5.7 that. |
Not an LS1, but still a Gen3 motor. Vauxhall = GM

i know that vauxhaul is GM, but one place says its a 350 chevy, and another it says 5.0L vauxhaul...........

It was to my understanding that it was powerd by a LS1 engine.
And Vaux doesnt make any V8's. The last one to make a 5.0 engine outside of GM NA was Holden, but I dont think that they shared it with anyone. |
multiple websites say a 5.0L vauxhaul......some say a ZZ3 350 chevy....some say both
|
I dont think it matters a whole lot anyway. I like the original keaton bat mobile except for the nascar tires lol
|
it has mickey ts all the way around.....
