I get asked that all the time or what size engine. I tell people its a v6 and before i put the ram air hood on i got asked if it was an lt1

LTb1ow 04-09-2009 10:31 PM

NjbadSS 04-09-2009 10:41 PM

thats my favorite question by dumbies.. When I went to the fast and furious movie, I was rolling threw the lot in my camaro and a group of ricer kids were all like wow sick ass car man.. I stopped and said thanks and the ones like is it a v6? I said ya bro its the rarest 99 SS you will ever find, its a 6 cylinder putting out over 300 horse stock and a 6 speed manual trans..haha

LTb1ow 04-09-2009 10:43 PM

I had a guy ask me whether mine was either a 77 or a 78.

He had more teeth than brain cells though.

firehawk1120 04-10-2009 07:35 AM

could be worse I had someone ask if I like my sunfire. I wanted to throw my slurpee in their face.

sweetbmxrider 04-10-2009 07:39 AM

thats funny. i guess a v6 is a big motor to them

V 04-10-2009 07:47 AM

people mistake my SS clone for a race car, i have to set them straight by telling them its really a 3.4v6 with a miss and exhaust leak. you'd be amazed how confused people get but i do understand.

but on a relative note, one of my parents friends saw my car in my garage years back and asked if it was a ferrari.
